The GCMGs support a 70’ X 13’ garden at the park entrance. The City of Cibolo has granted the potential to expand.

The GCMG’s Butterfly Garden is part of
Schlather
Park, a
large park dedicated
and opened for public use in the Summer of 2012.
The land
was
donated by Fritz &
Sandy Schlather, members of one of the community's earliest families. The Cibolo
City Council approved naming the new park in honor of Ernst
& Elaine
Schlather,
parents of Fritz Schlather.
Schlather Park combines environmental, recreational &
physical fitness amenities in one area. The
park includes numerous picnic areas, a
pavilion, playground features, walking paths, nature observation points, and an
18 hole Frisbee golf course.
